What we do
Our modelling work has led us to provide training in areas that are closely linked with our specialist expertise.
We are part of the research team and make regular contributions to the Value Based Marketing Forum, a group lead by
Professor Robert Shaw of Cass Business School, City University.
We have put our market and financial modelling skills together to prepare several computer-based business
simulations aimed at the training needs of middle to senior management. These exercises are tailored to
deliver specified learning points, typically across a broad range of management disciplines. For example, our
strategic level business simulation, Stopka, is a rich and powerful exercise for senior management that is
based around the drinks industry. Its focus is to assist delegates to understand how business strategies and
decisions feed through to financial outcomes. It can be used either on a stand-alone basis or as an integrated
part of a commercial awareness ot general management course.
We also prepare and run training courses on modelling using spreadsheets, for example advanced financial
modelling using Excel and Excel macros.
